Bulgarian Project Submitted

We've submitted the project application so fingers crossed!

Training with UWE

Our training partners The University of the West of England are hosting our new one day course "A Practical introduction to Telecare" in January 2013.

Telecare in Dementia with Middlesex University

Middlesex University have approached us to provide a training module on the use of telecare in the management of Dementia as part of their course on Dementia Care.

Training for Merlin Housing

We are happy to announce that Merlin Housing have contracted us to deliver telecare training to help their staff employ new ways to help sufferers from Dementia to live safely and as independently as possible.

Merlin Housing recognise that the rise in numbers of people requiring specialist Dementia care will create increased demand and with it a need for them to provide appropriate and cost-effective care. Merlin's forward thinking approach has lead them to develop their telecare knowledge and skills, which will enable them to proactively develop effective practices for Dementia care.

Joint Project in Bulgaria

We have been invited to work on an EU project bid for a telecare project with a Bulgarian organisation representing domicilliary care providers.

The project will see Bulgarian representatives visiting the UK to see how we and other telecare related services work and then a return the visit to help them to set up a telecare trial in Sofia. The ambition is to demonstrate the benefits and value of telecare and stimulate telecare service development and uptake.

The application will be made in October this year and if we are successful the project will begin in April 2013 and run for 18 months.
